The Malekula Mbuong continues to be the best Kava I’ve tried. It’s super strong. Very relaxing – almost like a strong glass of wine. I miss then Kalm had free shipping! Shipping costs have gotten pretty goofy, especially for orders of 5+ bags. It’s actually cheaper to place several small orders.

The Malekula Mbuong is hands down the best Kava I’ve ever had. Very relaxing and heady. I wish it was in stock more often! Once you try it, nothing else compares.

Adding to the chorus here, yeah Pentecost Laterals is definitely the best Kava I‘ve had. It’s almost wine like in effect and just puts you in a great mood. I hope the supply keeps coming!

This is a review for Malekula Mbuong medium grind Private Reserve kava from Kalm with Kava. I have been kava for about 5 years now, and this a consistently excellent varietal. The taste is very smooth, and the effect is powerful and well rounded. Highly recommend!

I’m so glad KWK now has Instant Borongoru! I’m pretty sensitive to heady and even balanced kavas, so it was really nice to find the gold standard of heavy kavas in an easy to prepare form. Very smooth to drink; maybe because the raw Borongoru material was cultivated to have less DHM and methysticin, this also seems to have a lot less stomach load than is characteristic for many heavier kavas. The prominent position of the DHK in turn means that this beverage is potent, long-lasting and is simply unparalleled for treating body pain.

I bought the Epi Kelai, and it’s hands down the best/freshest kava I’ve ever tasted. It tastes mildly like cucumbers. The kava mixed up thin-looking, which had me concerned; the first drink dispelled all worries as my mouth was all numb! The effects were heavy and long lasting. I can’t wait to try more reserves.
