Hi Beverly,
Absolutley! Many customers mix kava varieties to tailor the effects to their specific needs. If a certain variety is a little too energizing or too sedating, its super easy to add another variety to make the blend more specific to what you’re looking to get out of kava. The possibilities are endless 🙂

Hi Beverly,
Theoretically yes, you could do this but it may take quite a number of capsules as the regular kava powder serving size is 3 Tablespoons or 15 grams. I would recommend trying out the micronized/instant products which can be simply stirred (or shaken) into any beverage both improving the taste and making it quite easy to use.

For instance, the Loa Waka and Samoan are very electric to me – energizing and a substantial boost in mood.
Additionally, the Borongoru packs a punch in a different way – immediately turning the noise down in my head while making me relaxed and at peace.
After all this time, I think I still have a lot to learn 🙂

Hi John,
The strongest kava we carry would be the Loa Waka:

This is a great variety for stress and anxiety. The absolute gold standard for sleep though has to be the Borongoru:

It’s definitely an evening variety that will make your eyelids very heavy 🙂
